Flutuasi medan gravitasi akibat fluktuasi massa bintang yang dikembangkan oleh Chandrasekhar dan von Neuman dimodifikasi untuk menjelaskan fluituasi perdagangan antar negara. GDP suatu negara diidentikkan dengan massa bintang.

Catatan: Ide paper ini muncul setelah menonton video Youtube atraksi bambu gila. Adakah persamaan fisika yang mendasarinya? Karena terlalu rumit menggunakan gaya oleh otot manusia, persoalan disederhanakan menjadi osilasi batang yang dikaitkan pada sejumlah pegas. Batang mewakili bambu dan tiap pegas mewakili pemain. Kesimpulan: atraksi bambu gila tidak ada kaitannga dengan fenomena mistis, tetapi hanyalah persoalan dinamika dalam fisika. Gaya yang sangat besar yang dirasakan tiap pemain merupakan resultan gaya yang dihasilkan oleh semua pemain lainnya.
